As Semester 2 continues, Physical Education in Madrasah should reinforce not only physical strength but also reflective thinking and character maturity. The PJOK Class 6 Teaching Module – Lesson 8 is carefully designed to help teachers deliver structured, meaningful instruction aligned with current Ministry of Religious Affairs policies and the Merdeka Curriculum direction.
Lesson 8 focuses on integrated fitness circuits and modified team sports that strengthen endurance, speed, and coordination while sharpening students’ decision-making skills during play. Through a Deep Learning approach, learners are guided to evaluate their physical performance, interpret simple fitness data, and connect exercise routines with long-term health awareness. This approach ensures that students understand the purpose behind each activity rather than merely completing movements.
Aligned with the principles of Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta (KBC), the module fosters respect, self-control, cooperation, and responsibility. Teachers are encouraged to facilitate supportive peer interaction and reflective discussions that promote empathy and sportsmanship. Assessment components include performance observation, self-reflection sheets, and authentic skill demonstrations to ensure balanced development of knowledge, skills, and attitude.
This ready-to-use module is flexible and adaptable for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah implementation.
