As Grade 6 students advance to Lesson 5 in Semester 2, instructional focus should move toward integration, evaluation, and real-world application of knowledge. This IPAS Teaching Module is developed in alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum framework implemented in Madrasah under the guidance of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. It is designed to help teachers deliver academically rigorous and spiritually grounded learning experiences.
Lesson 5 adopts a deep learning model that encourages students to investigate complex interactions between natural systems and social dynamics. Learners engage in inquiry-based activities, interpret evidence, construct logical arguments, and reflect on the broader implications of scientific and social issues. Through the Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta (KBC), the module integrates values such as responsibility toward the environment, integrity in research, collaboration, and gratitude for Allah’s creation. This ensures that intellectual mastery develops alongside moral and spiritual awareness.
The module provides clear learning objectives aligned with Phase C competencies, structured teaching procedures, differentiated learning strategies, and balanced formative and summative assessments. Practical and adaptable, it supports Madrasah teachers, principals, and supervisors in maintaining instructional quality and character development throughout Semester 2.
