Entering Lesson 2 in Semester 2 is a crucial phase for strengthening students’ communicative competence in English while maintaining meaningful engagement in the classroom. At this stage, Madrasah teachers are expected not only to deliver content but also to cultivate deeper understanding and character development in line with current educational policies. To support this goal, we present the Bahasa Inggris Class 6 Teaching Module – Lesson 2 Semester 2, developed using a Deep Learning approach and aligned with the Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta (KBC).
This module is designed to promote active learning through contextual dialogue, collaborative tasks, reflective questioning, and authentic language practice. Instead of focusing solely on structure and memorization, students are guided to connect language with real-life situations relevant to their daily experiences. The Deep Learning framework encourages critical thinking and problem-solving, while the KBC approach ensures that classroom interaction is grounded in empathy, respect, and positive teacher–student relationships. The module includes clear learning objectives, differentiated instruction strategies, formative and summative assessments, and integration of Islamic character values that strengthen the identity of Madrasah learners.
