Lesson 4 in Semester 2 is a strategic stage to strengthen students’ confidence in using English more independently and meaningfully. At this point, learners are expected to communicate ideas more clearly, respond to texts thoughtfully, and demonstrate deeper understanding of language functions. To assist Madrasah teachers in achieving these goals, we present the Bahasa Inggris Class 6 Teaching Module – Lesson 4 Semester 2, developed with a Deep Learning approach and aligned with the Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta (KBC).
This module promotes active and reflective learning through contextual reading passages, structured speaking practice, guided writing tasks, and collaborative classroom interaction. Rather than focusing solely on grammatical accuracy, students are guided to explore meaning, solve simple communication challenges, and connect lesson themes with real-life experiences. The Deep Learning framework encourages critical thinking and sustained understanding, while the KBC approach fosters empathy, respect, and positive classroom culture rooted in Madrasah values. The module also includes clear learning objectives, differentiated instructional strategies, formative and summative assessments, and integration of character education to support holistic student development.
