Lesson 8 in Semester 2 is designed to strengthen conceptual mastery while preparing Grade 6 students for higher academic transition. At this stage, learning must move beyond content coverage toward analytical depth and character integration. This IPAS Teaching Module is developed in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum direction implemented in Madrasah under the supervision of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, ensuring both compliance and instructional relevance.
Built on a deep learning framework, Lesson 8 encourages students to evaluate scientific and social phenomena critically, interpret data accurately, and construct reasoned conclusions supported by evidence. Inquiry-based exploration, collaborative tasks, and reflective dialogue are embedded to cultivate higher-order thinking skills. Through the Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta (KBC), the module integrates values such as environmental stewardship, social empathy, integrity in investigation, and gratitude for Allah’s creation, ensuring that academic achievement is inseparable from moral development.
The module outlines clearly defined learning objectives aligned with Phase C competencies, structured lesson sequences, contextual assignments, and comprehensive formative and summative assessment tools. Practical and adaptable, it serves as a strategic reference for Madrasah teachers, principals, and supervisors aiming to maintain instructional excellence throughout Semester 2.
